Welcome back! Molly’s Reach, one of the chief locations in the CBC’s longest running Canadian drama The Beachcombers, is an iconic stop for visitors and locals alike.

Although Molly’s Reach is an internationally recognized landmark, due to its prominence as the café/ home to many of the characters on CBC’s “The Beachcombers,” the building was originally built in 1926 as a grocery store. It served various retail functions until 1969, when CBC-TV leased the structure for the “Molly’s Reach” set in “The Beachcombers” TV series. Following the series’ cancellation in 1990, the building sat vacant until 1995 when inspired investors converted it into a functioning restaurant.
